1. Library
Bethany College (WV) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Graduate Assistant for the T.W. Phillips Memorial Library. The Library Graduate Assistant will participate in general library operations, assist library users, and complete projects that support library activities and services.
The Graduate Assistant will work as part of the library team to provide essential services to faculty, staff, student, and community users. The selected candidate will perform key library functions including circulation of materials, collection management, supervising student employees, and assisting with user information needs. This position includes administrative tasks, as well as the opportunity for creative projects including work with archival collections, displays, social media, and library events. Skills learned during this opportunity are applicable to many future work environments.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, self-driven, organized, and enjoy working with a diverse population of users. Excellent communication and organizational as well as familiarity with Office 365 products, including Excel, is required. 2. Student Life
Residence Life - This position reports to the Vice President of Student Life. Live in position assisting with supervision of Resident Assistants, Hall programming and Emergency on Call responsibilities.
Greek Life - This position reports to the Vice President of Student Life. Live in position assisting with Programming, house management, and leadership development within the Greek House Community, and Emergency on Call responsibilities.
Student Activities- This position reports to the Vice President of Student Life. Live in position assisting with Student Activities Council which provides campus wide social and educational programs for the campus, and Emergency on Call responsibilities.

3. Advancement
The Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Communications and Institutional Advancement will work closely with the Office of Communications and report to the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. The GA will track the College’s print and digital marketing, social media, and campaign efforts and craft comprehensive reports to evaluate effectiveness and ensure that the College is following trends and best practices. The GA will coordinate with the College’s faculty and staff to maintain the accuracy of webpages and marketing materials, produce in-house videos, and complete projects as needed. The ability to cover photos and social media posting for occasional weekend and evening campus events is required. The GA will also report to the Associate Vice President for Development for ongoing advancement-specific projects, including researching alumni achievements and donor prospects.
A bachelor's degree and experience in the area of communications is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, organized individual with excellent written and oral communication, photo, video, social media, research, and data analytic skills. Candidates with WordPress, video editing, and design experience will receive extra consideration.
