Responsibilities:

Understanding order requirements, product specifications, and standards, and liaising with other managers in formulating the master production plan and objectives for each manufacturing order.
Planning, directing, and monitoring all production activities to ensure high production efficiency and that finished products meet specifications, standards, and order requirements.
Determining and defining optimized production procedures and workflow for each manufacturing order.
Forecasting, specifying, and preparing all required resources including manpower, raw materials, tools, and equipment for each manufacturing order.
Managing daily production activities to ensure optimum performance and productivity, providing guidance and resolving operational issues as they arise.
Monitoring progress across all phases to ensure alignment with committed schedules.
Leading daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with subordinates and relevant stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and report to upper management.
Forecasting and identifying potential risks, taking preventive measures, and implementing responsive actions to mitigate negative impacts.
Collaborating with the Quality Manager and other departments to write, review, and update Standard Work Procedures, Work Instructions, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and other production documentation.
Driving and enforcing quality improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM, 5S, 8D, and ISO 9001 standards.
Leading and participating in Gemba Walks and Morning Talks to encourage team engagement and continuous improvement.
Promoting and enforcing workplace safety, including leading Near-miss/Golden Opportunity activities and fostering a safety-first culture.
Managing logistics, inventory, and warehousing of raw materials, components, tools, and other production-related assets.
Ensuring proper handling and disposal of waste and hazardous materials in compliance with government regulations.
Approving manpower requests, rework activities, maintenance operations, outsourcing, subcontracting, and procurement in coordination with the GM.
Reviewing and analyzing production costs versus budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
Monitoring defect rates and non-conforming products (NCP), identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Calculating and establishing standard manufacturing costs for each product to support cost control and reduction efforts.
Ensuring complete documentation of key production processes and verifying that operators properly complete all required forms and paperwork.
Handling specific KPIs: OEE, Product Cost, Production Volume, Net Profit, OTIF, and Stock Variance.
Handling common KPIs: SHE (FAC, MTC, LTA), and Quality (DPMO, %CCOR).
Performing other duties as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications:

Holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Production, Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Having a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Production or Industrial Engineer, plus at least 15 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
Possessing strong experience in metal fabrication.
Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of manufacturing management, project management, maintenance planning, cost and budget control, resource planning, and S&OP/SIOP.
Having proven hands-on experience in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPS, TQM, and TPM.
Holding a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Master certification (highly preferred).
Being certified in ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 51000, and either OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001.
Being proficient in MS Office (especially advanced Excel), AutoCAD, CAM, CAE, SketchUp, and other engineering/design software.
Demonstrating excellent professional-level communication skills in both English and Thai, with a minimum TOEIC score of 600.
Possessing solid knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
Being able to travel between plants in Rayong and Chonburi and stay overnight when required.
