The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.
As IT Security Manager, you will protect Welthungerhilfe's global IT infrastructure and increase its resilience to cyber attacks. With your work, you will ensure that Welthungerhilfe's business processes and information systems comply with legal requirements and the organization's specifications. You are also the point of contact for all questions relating to IT and information security and cultivate an awareness within the organization for the secure handling of information within the organization.
Your responsibilities
- Independent planning and implementation of suitable security measures to improve (cyber) resilience
- Support and operation of existing IT security systems and the existing IT security infrastructure
- Recording, mitigation and documentation of (cyber) security incidents
- Vulnerability analysis, identification and assessment of security risks and threat scenarios
- Consulting our units on all IT security issues
- Training and sensitisation of IT staff in Germany and abroad
Your profile
- A university or college degree in IT or training in an adequate field with appropriate work experience
- Multiple years of work experience in a cyber security position
- Experience with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001
- Sound knowledge of IT security and IT infrastructure
- Strong analytical capability to analyze vulnerabilities and risks
- Service orientation and strong communication skills
- Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of German is advantageous.
