The Assistant Director will help lead the Reunions Program and work closely with the Reunion Team members and Development colleagues on all aspects of class reunions.

Job DescriptionEssential Functions:- Builds robust reunion cohorts that will encourage their classmates' attendance at Homecoming and participation in the reunion class campaign.
- Solicits reunion volunteers to make a reunion campaign gift.
- Identifies prospects for Giving Society asks and partners with Development for alumni in WAKECommunities or who are managed prospects.
- Works with Reunion Team members to develop strategy for participation in each class through target messaging, use of Gravity, or incentives.
- Assists volunteers with their outreach efforts to encourage attendance for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, supporting the class campaign, and updating contact information for reunion alumni.
- Partners with Wake Forest Fund on scheduling reunion solicitations throughout the year as well as on Deacs Day of Giving.
- Provides regular training and communications with reunion volunteers through Zoom committee calls, meeting notes, group and personal emails, phone calls and personal visits based on best practices for each generation.
- Makes reunion outreach efforts and reunion weekend a WOW experience for volunteers in order to create connection with their peers as well as with the university.
- Works with the reunion team to create opportunities for exclusive access to information, campus leaders, and places on campus.
- Runs weekly reunion giving and pledge reports and updates websites with information.
- Manages the 50+ Reunion Class Facebook pages - requests to join, policing inappropriate posts, adding new content and images throughout the year. Works with committee members to be social media ambassadors.
- Works with the reunion team to develop innovative ways to reach alumni through the various social media platforms, incentives and mailers.
- Works with the reunion team and University Marketing and Communications on a suite of reunion graphics for mailers and headers.
- Works with the reunion team to develop a virtual volunteer toolbox and resource kit for all reunion volunteers.
- Creates bi-annual class honor rolls.
- Identifies and elevates reunion volunteers for other volunteer opportunities.
- Uses WakeNetwork and DAD to manage class member selections and assist with assignments.
- Updates and/or creates appropriate training materials for reunion volunteers.
- Creates a communication plan for the reunion classes with a combination of direct mail, email, and peer-to-peer outreach.
- Thinks creatively on ways to update contact information for reunion alumni.
- Works with other team members on the event planning process for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.
- Updates Homecoming tasks in Clickup.
- Creates reunion volunteer onboarding and reunion campaign workflow in Clickup.
- Supports all other work within the Philanthropic Engagement team as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of institutional fundraising priorities.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Bachelor's degree with three to five years of relevant experience.
