The Office of Advancement is accepting applications for the Development Manager position. The successful candidate selected for this position will serve as the liaison between Auburn Advancement and AUM Advancement and be responsible for donor pipeline management, donor database management, and event management.In addition, this position will perform the following duties and responsibilities:- Plans, develops or assists in the execution of programs/services/fundraisers.
- Coordinates, plans, and organizes events to include activities such as set-up, selecting speakers, and/or negotiating contractual obligations for resources and logistical considerations.
- Monitors and may develop programs/services budget and ensures programs/services are operating
- within specifications.
- Prepares itineraries and makes travel arrangements for those involved in related Development programs/services.
- Creates and maintains records of prospects, contacts, and constituents.
- Identifies, screens, and recommends, in coordination with the research team, individuals, corporations, and foundations which qualify as prospective donors to development staff and/or volunteers.
- Provides information to staff, students, and constituents concerning Auburn University at Montgomery development activities through presentations, inquiry response, and/or memorandums/letters.
- May develop and oversee the marketing function for assigned development programs including (but not limited to) brochures, newsletters, web site and news releases.
- Receives and resolves inquiries and problems.
- Creates and maintains donor relations, solicitation and development collateral.
- Coordinate stewardship of donors including management of the endowment reporting, thank you letters/birthday cards and donor stewardship events.
- Prepare and maintain daily cash reports, deposits and invoices/vouchers.
- Assist Associate Vice Chancellor and development staff with project management/strategy and coordination.
- Facilitate conference calls and meetings.
- Attend national, regional and state events as necessary.
- Periodic evening and weekend events.

Minimum Qualifications
