Sattya Manager (Temporary - 5 Months, International Candidates Welcome)

Location: Jawalakhel, Kathmandu, Nepal
Sattya Arts Collective is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Manager to support the relaunch of this long-standing arts organization in Kathmandu. With over a decade of impact in the local creative community, Sattya is now rebuilding and refocusing after periods of financial constraints. Currently operating with a strong vision for the future, we are looking for a motivated leader to help re-establish its programs, build partnerships, and create sustainable structures for long-term success.
This temporary five-month role is ideal for someone with experience in arts programming, community building, and organizational leadership who wants to contribute to revitalizing a grassroots cultural institution in Nepal.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Program Development
- Oversee and coordinate Sattya’s initiatives, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support the development of programming, workshops, community events, and income-generating services to sustain the organization.
- Manage budgets, logistics, and operational workflows across different initiatives.
Community & Partnership Building
- Connect with local and international artists, creatives, and community partners to expand Sattya’s network.
- Foster collaborations with organizations and businesses to enhance Sattya’s presence and sustainability.
- Promote skill-sharing and creative collaboration within the community.
Marketing & Outreach
- Oversee marketing efforts, including social media, community engagement, and email campaigns.
- Support and expand Spotted, Sattya’s arts & culture events newsletter.
- Develop strategies to increase public participation in Sattya’s programs.
Team & Volunteer Coordination
- Work alongside Sattya’s small team, volunteers, and collaborators to create an engaged, effective workforce.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to individuals working on Sattya projects.
- Foster an inclusive, creative, and productive work environment.
Fundraising & Financial Sustainability
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, grants, and sponsorships to support Sattya.
- Develop income-generating models such as memberships, events, and creative services.
- Support financial planning and budgeting for long-term sustainability.
Who Should Apply?

- Has experience in management, arts/culture programming, or nonprofit leadership.
- Possesses strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects.
- Has a passion for art, storytelling, and creative communities.
- Is comfortable with event planning, marketing, and partnership-building.
- Bonus: Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or revenue generation.
