The Manager of Advancement Services plays a vital role within the Office of Advancement & Engagement at Mount Aloysius College by supporting the institution's mission to build and maintain meaningful connections with alumni, friends, employees, businesses, foundations, government officials, and other constituents. This position is integral to the success of the Office's efforts to foster engagement and secure philanthropic support in alignment with the College's comprehensive fundraising campaign, Opportunity Elevated: The Campaign for Mount Aloysius College, and the broader institutional strategic plan, Growing Greater: The Strategic Plan for Mount Aloysius College (2021-26).
The Manager is further responsible for enforcing confidentiality "best practices" to safeguard all constituent data. The Manager will routinely create statistical, analytical and financial reports to show progress and support team goals. The Manager will adhere to high standards for consistent data management to ensure integrity throughout all business practices involving the data.
The successful incumbent will be able to derive conclusions and identify trends through the statistical analysis of internal and external data to provide research-driven recommendations and action plans to the Advancement and Engagement team.
The Manager of Advancement Services is responsible for the collection, maintenance and integrity of all data in the Raiser's Edge database and other sources of data pertaining to Mount Aloysius constituents.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required. At least one (1) year of related experience required. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience, inclusive of prospect identification, research, gift processing, acknowledgements, donor relations and stewardship. Well-developed oral communication skills required. Above average writing skills related to spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with potential donors, alumni and others. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail also required. Experience with Raiser's Edge database management for donor and solicitation records is a plus.
This is a full-time, 12-month benefit eligible position. While some flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity for periodic remote days exists, this position is on campus in Cresson, PA and is not eligible for remote work. This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application.
