KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work with the AVP to establish measurable goals to drive fundraising results that are both aspirational and achievable.
- Manage, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of major l gift prospects and achieve fundraising targets as determined by the AVP and the President of the College.
- Assist in the planning and execution of annual fund strategies including, but not limited to, direct mail solicitation and the use of push technology and social media to engage prospects and donors.
- Help ensure the success of the College’s special events as an active participant in planning, soliciting support and executing such events.
- Develop strong positive relationships with the college community to assist in establishing the Advancement Office as the major resource and coordinator of all fundraising.
- Responsible for helping in the creation and execution of an alumni engagement strategy, that builds connections within and between students.
- Keeps up to date on trends related to alumni engagement, corporate philanthropy, and higher education partnerships, and provides expertise to campus partners and staff.
- Help develop innovative solutions to deepen alumni and corporate connections, engage others and create robust external relationships.
- Ensures campus awareness of alumni and corporate engagement vision, programs and impact.
- Other responsibilities, as assigned.

- Strong and proven written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with varied constituencies in a professional manner.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two to three years of demonstrated success in fundraising.
- Working knowledge of the various social media and technology platforms used in an academic office setting; familiarity and experience using Raiser's Edge an added plus.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
