Posting Date: Job Schedule: Locations: Degree Level: Job Description:What We Are Looking ForThe Assistant Director of Donor Engagement plays a key leadership role in supporting the mission of the University by planning and executing meaningful donor experiences that foster strong relationships and support fundraising goals. This position collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to implement donor recognition strategies, manage high-level volunteer engagement, and support special fundraising initiatives. The Assistant Director will contribute to strategic donor engagement efforts, support targeted campaigns, and ensure that key constituents are connected to the University in impactful and lasting ways.
A Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. What You Will Do - Lead the design and execution of donor engagement strategies that align with institutional advancement goals
- Partner with development officers, University leadership, and volunteer leaders to enhance the donor experience
- Coordinate donor-focused events and experiences that strengthen relationships with major donors and prospects
- Develop and deliver donor communications and recognition materials in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and engagement in the University's donor database systems; utilize data to inform future engagement activities
- Manage projects in collaboration with vendors and campus partners to ensure the timely production of print and digital materials
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures related to gift processing, event risk management, and contract administration
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
