Senior Officer, Donor Analytics and Operations
Position Summary
The Senior Officer, Donor Analytics and Operations strengthens the University’s capacity to fulfill its educational mission by fostering strategic partnerships that drive the acquisition of new and diversified funding sources.
The Senior Officer oversees all aspects of gift processing, constituent segmentation, and creation of invitations, newsletters and other communications. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining data integrity within Raiser’s Edge NXT (RENXT) through accurate data entry, record updates, data imports and exports, and comprehensive reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline (e.g., computer science, IT, philanthropy, communications, marketing) from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience working with a post-secondary institution or similar organization.
- Advanced experience and education using Raiser’s Edge NXT and other Blackbaud products, preferably with a certificate from Blackbaud University.
- Experience using communications, engagement, or crowdfunding software such as BlackBaud, NetCommunity or GradAdvance.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams to collaborate with teams and create documents and reports.
- Experience using Power Automate to integrate RE NXT processes with MS Office tools to enhance efficiencies an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to spelling and grammar.
- Passionate about working with people. Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Strategic thinker with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to address complex / sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge and experience of data management in a post-secondary environment preferred.
