Position DescriptionPerforms varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.
Major/Essential Functions- Design and produce creative assets for annual giving, including but not limited to social graphics, email layouts, web content, advertisements and publications to support 10+ fundraising appeals per year.
- Develop written content to support fundraising appeals, ensuring consistent messaging for audiences of more than 200,000 alumni and donors.
- Collaborate with Director of Annual Giving to execute creative strategy for fundraising appeals and alignment with the ON&ON Campaign goals and brand
- Create and maintain annual giving templates, toolkits, and guides for 16+ colleges, schools, and units across campus to ensure consistency in appeal.
- Produce social media and digital ad content in coordination with fundraising appeals
- Adapt design and messaging strategies based on appeal performance and engagement metrics to improve donor response rates and overall effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison with university and advancement communications teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across fundraising efforts.
- Stay informed on best practices and trends in annual giving, content marketing, and digital fundraising to enhance appeal strategies.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications, preferably in higher education or nonprofit organizations.
- Graphic Design Experience - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or Canva for designing marketing assets
