SummaryThe Alumni Seasonal Recruiter will work with the admissions office to recruit a dynamic class of students for the law school and foreign attorneys to be students for the LLM program at the law school.
The individual will travel and/or communicate extensively in the US, Canada, and internationally to represent Barry Law School's JD and LLM (Masters of Law) programs.
The individual will be an alumni ambassador of the admissions office and will promote and market the law school in a positive and professional manner.
This is a part-time, temporary position. Essential FunctionsRecruitment and Travel- The Alumni Seasonal Recruiter will travel to off-campus events such as law fairs, forums, and private visits to present about the law school application process and benefits of matriculating as a student at Barry Law while promoting the law school's JD and LLM programs.
- The individual will also coordinate and present at on-campus programs.
- The Alumni Seasonal Recruiter will arrange their own travel and submit all expenses for reimbursement.
- The Alumni Seasonal Recruiter will be responsible for arranging meetings with pre-law advisors, visiting and presenting to a variety of college-level classes and student organizations.
- The individual will effectively and enthusiastically present, counsel and convey information to prospective applicants at on-and-off-campus recruiting events to include classroom visits and recruiting fairs.
- He/she will be knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions that relate to the Law School's academic programs, admission requirements, student life, and career services.
Phone Calls and Support- The individual will effectively and enthusiastically present, counsel and convey information to prospective applicants at on-and-off-campus recruiting events to include classroom visits and recruiting fairs.
- The Alumni Seasonal Recruiter will recruit students to the Law School through various means to include telephone calls, live chatting experiences, and other innovative method.
Qualifications/Requirements- Doctoral degree - Field of study: JD REQUIRED from Barry Law School.
