Job DescriptionThe Deputy Director of Athletics / Chief Revenue Officer serves as a member of the Athletics Department senior leadership team and is charged to lead a comprehensive revenue generation program and manage all aspects of the fundraising programs for Athletics. The incumbent oversees sponsorships, ticketing, Name Image Likeness (NIL), and alumni relations, and is responsible for the strategic development and execution of initiatives within these areas.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as a member of the VP/AD's Cabinet and Athletics Department Executive Staff
Responsible for all major gifts in athletics over $20K.
Lead a comprehensive development program that supports Athletics' strategic priorities.
Liaison with Sabertooth Sports and Entertainment
Oversight of Athletics Capital Facility Projects
Lead the growth and expansion of our NIL/Collective
Oversight of Athletics Annual Giving and the Monocle Society
Schedule and Coordinate development travel for VP/AD, Coaches and other athletics fundraisers
Work and assist with the hosting of all sporting events.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrated success in cultivation and closure of major gifts .
Possess initiative and self-motivation;
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Possess superior interpersonal skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and structured environment.
Self-motivated and well organized.
Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of three (3) years of Development experience, preferably in Division 1 athletics
Physical RequirementsExerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
