Individual & Corporate Giving Manager
SUMMARY
The Manager of Individual & Corporate Giving plays a critical role in supporting the philanthropic developmentof Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD). This frontline fundraiser will work closely with a dedicated team to grow arelationship-focused, mid-level giving program that bridges annual giving and major gift philanthropy. Reporting to the Director of MajorGifts, this role will focus on donors–individual, corporate, and alumni relationships. This role is responsible for overseeing a dynamicportfolio, which will include identification, qualification, and cultivation of potential donors as well as soliciting and stewarding gifts.A key metric of success will be pairing donors with opportunities to increase their giving, with the ultimate goal of identifying, engaging,and retaining emerging major donors for the institution.
This role is ideal for an energetic fundraiser with strong people,organization, and project management skills to work in a supportive team environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a dynamic portfolio ofapproximately 100-175 donors and prospects, aligning donor interest with institutional priorities.
- Conduct broad-based outreach tomid-tier donors, identify opportunities to deepen engagement and giving, and hold gift conversations typically in the $2,000–$25,000 rangebased on donor interest and capacity.
- Actively research prospective, new, and consistent donors to understand giving interests andmotivation.
- Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for different giving tiers (in alignment with thedepartment's strategic plans and guidelines).
- Manage and execute broad donor communications for the team such as targeted appealsand a regular donor newsletter.
- Partner with the Alumni and Annual Giving Coordinator to qualify and move annual and prospectivedonors through the giving pipeline.
- Play an active fundraising and engagement role in campus-wide events and initiatives.Participate in donor stewardship and engagement events then follow up with attendees.
- Manage entry-level corporate/foundationgrants and sponsorships (25K and under), as well as in-kind donations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of donorinteractions using Raiser's Edge donor management database.
- Draft documents including grants, proposals, agreements, and donorcorrespondence.
- Provide additional fundraising support, including select involvement in major gift cultivation activities andalumni or campaign-based fundraising initiatives.
- Represent CCAD at internal and external events; attend targeted events tonetwork with donors, prospects, and community partners; this may require out of state travel as necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of two years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field with demonstrated success in customer or donorrelations required; direct experience with fundraising preferred; development work within higher education or the arts preferred
- Demonstrated success in making "cold calls" and securing new donors
- Experience with donor/customer relationship managementsoftware strongly desired; Raiser's Edge preferred
- Proficiency with administrative software programs required; Google Suitepreferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This role is primarily an on-campus position with opportunity for somehybrid/remote work after initial onboarding determined by the supervisor
- Work is primarily performed in a standard officeenvironment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet tomoderate
- Work is occasionally performed at events, coffee shops, and other external sites that may be crowded and noisy
