Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate.SUMMARY:In support of the Philanthropy and Engagement Division, this position manages the full life-cycle of restricted funds enabling development and supporting stewardship functions within the division.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Restricted Funds: Effectively implement and administer information tracking via Raiser's Edge and document management processes for restricted funds management; enabling the cultivation, solicitation, stewarding and recognition of the university's generous benefactors.
- Processes all gift agreements and other documents supporting new gifts to the Foundation or the Alumni Association.
- Drafts and implements clear and concise gift agreements that strategically balance the donor's wishes with the university's needs.
- Effectively provides guidance regarding fund criteria to ensure compliance with IRS, Title IX of The Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of The Education Amendments Act of 1972, and TX SB 17.
- Researches best practices, peer institutions, and government regulations and recommends changes and enhancements to improve administrative effectiveness.
- Manages the full life-cycle of policies and procedures related to gift acceptance and funds management. Drafts, implements and maintains straightforward and effective policies and procedures ensuring that all stakeholders are involved and informed.
- Manages the full life-cycle of Foundation and Alumni Association restricted funds including gift agreement, creation of fund, donations to fund, and supporting stewardship of donors.
- Proactively maintains an ongoing health check of all funds, ensuring that necessary updates and transfers are applied, involving development personnel when communication is needed with the fund point of contact.
- Partners with Financial Aid & Scholarships to ensure scholarship opportunities are current and complete.
- Maintains an open line of communication with scholarship committees to ensure scholarship awards comply with donor restrictions.
- Coordinates the timely receipt of information from Financial Services to fulfill status and reporting requirements.
- Provides data, as needed, to stewardship personnel to support donor stewardship and recognition. Develops processes to support these functions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Education: Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Three (3) years of related experience. Proven track record of successful project management. Outstanding organization and time-management skills to function efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Superior attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service excellence. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management, staff and departments across campus. Clear and concise business writing skills. Effective consensus builder. Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams, and Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge.
- Ability to: Multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to quickly learn and utilize department specific information systems.
- Licensing/Professional Certifications: Certification in Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge Preferred

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:Master's degree preferred. Working knowledge of university procurement policies. Experience with Raiser's Edge including query, export and gift processing. Experience with FRS module within the TAMUS Canopy system and TAMUS Endowment reporting system is preferred.
