Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Be the first contact for colleagues regarding general questions and inquiries related to the procurement function, its role, and responsibilities.
- Respond to requests from all FSC units and teams for consulting and professional services.
- Conduct RFQ (request for quotation) and RFP (request for proposal) processes for consulting and professional services including negotiation, contract award and framework agreement development.
- Review and approve relevant sections of consulting contracts in the DocuSign system.
- Support the development and improvement of the procurement policy, procedure, and associated documentation.
- Answer questions concerning the proper implementation of the applicable procurement policies and procedures.
- Additional tasks as agreed with the formal supervisor.
Your profile
- Education and Training:
- University degree or equivalent training or experience in Business administration or Procurement.
- Working Experience, Style and Skills:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in working with procurement/ third party services management.
- Proven experience in managing procurement projects and handling tender processes.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a solution- and service-oriented approach.
- Experience with financial administration/management.
- A strong sense for diligence and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and structural skills.
- Previous experience in strategic sourcing and procurement planning is a plus.
- Digital Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
- Standard software packages (MS Office).
The Fine Print
- Location: Bonn, Germany.
- Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
- Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
- Starting Date: As soon as possible.
