St. Thomas University - PhilanthropyPosition Overview:This position plays a critical role in supporting the university's philanthropic goals by ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of constituent data through various platforms and tools. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across an organization, often focusing on data governance and compliance.
This position will help lead the management, enhancement, and day-to-day operations of key advancement technologies and data systems within the division and partner with stakeholders across the University on collaborative initiatives utilizing its data.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Provide direct support for the Raiser's Edge NXT platforms, including tasks associated with configurations, constituent and organizational record integrity, accuracy, query and export development, reporting, and queue processes.
- Facilitate tasks associated with the administration, integration, and enhancement of other Office of Philanthropy software platforms.
- Process electronic data feeds to and from Raiser's Edge / NXT and other related systems utilizing platforms and serving as vendor liaison for troubleshooting and support.
- Participate in the design and maintenance of existing and future custom reports and dashboards to support fundraising, engagement, and alumni relations efforts.
- Assist in the design and implementation of database audits and data integrity checks to ensure accurate, up-to-date constituent information along with analysis of data trends that support continuous improvement.
- Assist in the ongoing enhancement of constituent engagement through data enrichment, consistency, and preparedness for utilization in analytics tools.
- Maintain data elements essential to the University's email system
- subscribe/unsubscribe functionality and preferences centers.
- Support manual data entry processes accurately and in a timely manner with a constant focus on the ability to innovate the manual entry process.
- Support key tasks associated with submissions for data requests within and beyond the Office of Philanthropy (e.g., direct mailing and email lists, digital magazine subscriptions, newsletters etc.).
- Provide training and onboarding support for existing and future members of the broader Office of Philanthropy and other campus partners that utilize aspects of Raiser's Edge NXT for their unique program purposes.
- Develop, document, and maintain key departmental processes, procedures and policies.
- Participate in departmental planning for evolving business needs and special initiatives by remaining current on systems updates, feature releases, and best practices for all platforms.
- Support office administration task including budgeting, supplies, and records.
QualificationsQualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in higher education or nonprofit fundraising environments.

- Minimum 3 years of experience with Raiser's Edge NXT with proficiency in records management, queries, exports, and reporting tools.
- Strong experience with relevant data integration platforms, data storage platforms and fundraising engagement tools.

- Experience designing and executing database audits to maintain data integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 platforms with emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
- Ability to think strategically about data use in fundraising and constituent engagement.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, collaborate effectively, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with University Philanthropy Strategic Operations (including Prospect Research & Management, Financial Services, Stewardship & Constituent Relations) and other key areas including, but not limited to: Alumni Engagement, Annual Giving and Major and Principal Gifts.
