Position Description:This position provides clerical, administrative, and research support to multiple unit-based fundraising professionals in support of the University's philanthropic activities and prospect management under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Philanthropy for the Health Sciences Campus (HSC).Duties & Responsibilities- Administrative support for development fundraising professionals on the HSC campus, including coordinating and managing office functions; scheduling events, meetings, and visits for development officers; and prioritizing deadlines for multiple projects.
- Assist with preparing Charitable Gift Agreements (CGA's) and other gift documentation and correspondence.
- Identify processes and procedures throughout Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement that impact fundraising activities. Assist with short-term projects and special assignments as assigned by fundraising professionals and the HSC Coordinator (Unit Specialist).
- Maintain confidential donor correspondence files and records.
- Process, draft, and edit documents related to donor and prospect engagement.
- Secure database reports and request additional reports as needed for donor research.
- Forward donor data and related information to the Biographical Processing team to maintain the integrity of the University's alumni and donor database system.
- Complete all expense reports and travel-related requests for development officers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Occasional travel by walking or driving between campus buildings and other locations for meetings or job-related errands will be required.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience supporting multiple individuals.Competencies- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
