Development Director — Help Build Power for Housing and Economic Justice | Harlem, NY (Hybrid)
This is an ideal role for a fundraiser who enjoys both strategy and execution and wants to help build a development program inside a powerful grassroots organizing organization.
Community Voices Heard (CVH) is a Black- and brown-led, member-driven organization building grassroots power among people with low incomes across New York.
Our members organize to win:
- truly affordable housing
- financial dignity for working families
- a fully participatory democracy
We center the leadership of women and people most impacted by injustice because lasting change comes from communities organizing together. We are seeking a Development Director to help strengthen and grow the fundraising program that sustains this work.
ABOUT THE ROLE

While the role carries the title Development Director, it is a highly collaborative (internally manager/senior manager-level) position focused on implementing and strengthening CVH’s fundraising systems and relationships.
This position supports fundraising for both:
- Community Voices Heard (501(c)(3))
