The Associate/Assistant Director of Prospect Research andData Management oversees the College’s prospect and donor pipeline within theinstitutional database. This role provides data, analysis, and reporting toinform strategic decisions related to donor cultivation, engagement, andfundraising. The position manages prospect pipelines, produces donor trackingreports, and supports the advancement team by facilitating donor strategymeetings and delivering insights that guide effective donor outreach and stewardship. This role provides opportunities to build andexpand fundraising expertise while advancing the mission and philanthropicpriorities of Chestnut Hill College.

Responsibilities:
- Overseethe Manager of Constituent Records staff and Raiser’s Edge.
- Definethe scope of all donors and prospects in the pipeline; prepare reports anddocument pipeline progress.
- Ensuretimely submission of all contact reports after contacts/visits, and activitiesrelated to identifying, cultivating, soliciting, gift acceptance andstewardship of givers.
- Workwith OIA staff to ensure data is accurate, and reports are provided inaccordance with tasks of donor relations management.
- Serveas principal researcher for all donor queries and provide the Vice Presidentfor Strategic Innovation and College President with profiles.
- Preparebriefing for Vice President for Strategic Innovation and College President onattendees of events where College President will be in attendance.
- Participatein weekly meetings with the OIA team to discuss strategy and increaseaccountability for major gifts donors and prospects.
- Assistwith research for the Membership Committee for prospective Board members,Commencement speakers, and Honorary Degree recipients.
- SupportOIA events such as Reunion Weekend, Galas, Golf Outings, etc.; this may includesome nights and weekends.
- Managecontracts with partners including Raiser’s Edge, Double the Donation, andAlmabase.
- Manage a small, diverse portfolio ofgiving prospects, including for annual giving, endowed scholarships, andpotential restricted gifts.
- Support special initiatives such ascampaigns, feasibility studies, and targeted fundraising events.
- Conduct outreach (email, phone,virtual and in‑person meetings) to qualify prospects and build donorrelationships.
- Performother duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’sdegree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimumtwo years of proven donor relations management experience at an independentschool or college or university.
- Extensiveknowledge of, and experience with, Raiser’s Edge or related donor management softwareor database.
