Job DescriptionJob Summary The Assistant Director of Athletic Alumni Engagement supports the cultivation, engagement, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and prospective donors to ETSU Athletics. Working closely with the Executive Director of the National Alumni Association, the Annual Giving team, and Advancement staff, this position helps plan and execute donor engagement events, manage relationships with supporters, and assist with annual fundraising initiatives that advance the mission and goals of ETSU Athletics.
This role is also responsible for coordinating donor benefit fulfillment, including the distribution of membership-level incentives and promotional items, and for collaborating across Alumni and Advancement teams to achieve divisional fundraising and engagement objectives.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, with one to three years of experience in athletics administration, alumni relations, fundraising, business, sales and marketing, or a related field
OR - An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of NCAA Division I athletics.
- Knowledge of current fundraising developments, best practices, techniques, and trends.
Physical Demands- Prolonged standing (e.g., up to 4 hours)
- Lifting objects up to 50 lbs
- Carrying files, equipment, or supplies short distances
- Frequent typing or keyboard use
- Visual acuity to read printed and electronic materials
