Are you passionate about supporting innovative research, teaching and community outreach that is helping to realize a more sustainable future? Do you have an interest in conservation, biodiversity and sustainable forest management? The UBC Faculty of Forestry is seeking an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record to join a major gift fundraising team that supports leading-edge research, teaching and community outreach to address some of today’s global challenges, such as climate change.

Our thriving team regularly surpasses fundraising targets, with significant ongoing interest from donors who want to contribute to the Faculty. We are currently looking for an Associate Director to join us in responding to this demand in support of the Faculty’s students and researchers. The Faculty is one of the world’s leading forestry schools, educating the next generation of natural resource leaders and covering a broad range of topics from ecosystem and species conservation to advanced renewable materials (such as bio-plastics) and urban forestry.

Compensation Range

Min. $99,661 – Mid. $124,447 – Max. $155,428 CAD Annually

The Compensation Range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for a position. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum and represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job.
