Learning and Development at MTREP
Great long-term contract opportunity available! At MTREP, our Learning and Development Specialist handles the management, development, and implementation of training programs which seek to inform, support, and empower membersof our community. Our L&D Specialist would be a highly visible team-member, actively engaging with the community to assess and address business and community needs.
Your Day to Day
- In partnership with the MTREP team, craft high-quality, informative training and development programs and materials addressing real-world issues.
- Develop and execute strategies to present these programs using a range of mediums and formats, including guides, slide decks, interactive exercises, group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
- Maintain training records in order to evaluate, enhance, and modify existing programs and improve effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the MTREP team and/or approved community collaborators to ensure content consistency and alignment, serving as the main point of contact for developing current and future events throughout Montana, overseeing tactics and execution for these programs.
- Oversee and integrate positive behavior strategies into each program design or material guide, while being mindful that certain topics may be sensitive, personal, or challenging.
- As needed, participate in training programs and events (remote, hybrid, or in-person).

- Proficient in computer software applications, G suite, (preferred), handling of sensitive information (Required).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a training and/or teaching role, inclusive curriculum or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Unwavering integrity and a strong personal dedication to assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating the capacity to uphold respect, prevent bias, and effectively analyze data to provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making for others.
- Proficient in project management: highly organized, proactive, capable of independent work, adept at adjusting to changing deadlines, and skilled in reprioritizing tasks as needed.
