Job Description:Leadership & Strategy- Serve on the University Advancement Leadership Team.
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual giving strategies to grow The Clark Fund and increase donor participation.
- Set and monitor fundraising goals, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and campaign objectives.
- Implement data-driven approaches to enhance donor engagement, retention, and pipeline development.
Annual Giving Management- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of The Clark Fund's fundraising efforts, including direct mail appeals, digital outreach, and phone programs.
Manage and execute The Clark Fund's key giving days, including:- Spree for Clark: The university's spring online giving day.
- Cougar Challenge: The fall giving day focused on athletic donors.
- Additional Giving Days
- Lead stewardship efforts for The Jonas Clark Fellows, recognizing donors who contribute $3,000+ annually.
- Initiate and manage our matching gift challenges
- Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all annual giving platforms and initiatives.
Team Leadership & Management- Supervise and support 1 to 3 frontline fundraisers responsible for donor engagement, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Provide mentorship, professional development, and training to strengthen fundraising efforts.
- Track donor activity and oversee reporting processes to measure impact and optimize strategies.
Collaboration & University Engagement- Work closely with university leadership, faculty, alumni relations, and athletics to align fundraising efforts with institutional priorities.
- Collaborate with the Senior Executive Director of Individual Giving and other advancement leaders to drive donor engagement.
- Engage with donors through personal outreach, events, and stewardship initiatives to strengthen relationships and increase giving levels.
Requirements: - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in annual giving, fundraising, or related roles preferably in a university or nonprofit setting.
- Proven track record of managing annual giving campaigns and increasing donor engagement.
- Experience overseeing fundraising appeals, digital giving days, and donor recognition programs.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong goal orientation, with a focus on meeting and exceeding fundraising targets.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to travel regularly and work evenings and weekends as needed.
