POSITION SUMMARY Student employee position assists Research staff with biographical updates and special research projects related to the Blackbaud database. Also assists Biographical Data Coordinator within the Advancement Services Unit.
Primary Responsibilities - Biographical Data Enhancement/Update Projects; including UConn Magazine Alumni News & Notes, obituary notifications, Schools & Alumni Association projects, etc.
- Backup to Biographical Data Coordinator for Blackbaud Updates; including Research reports, News Alerts, etc.
- Special Research Projects.
QualificationsKey Competencies - Dependability a must
- Proficiency with a computer and knowledge of Microsoft office software programs, i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning donor related and other information.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner as a representative of the Foundation on campus and within the Foundation.
- Values diversity and inclusion in the workplace
Education & Experience - Enrollment at the University of Connecticut
- A student in good standing related to grade point average and student code of conduct
- Ability to work during school breaks preferred
