POSITION SUMMARY - *This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential to turn permanent* The Biographical Coordinator plays an important role in managing biographical data that is essential to supporting the Foundation's mission of promoting educational, scientific, cultural, research, and recreational objectives of the University of Connecticut. The Biographical Coordinator will serve as a resource for Foundation and University staff, providing data entry updates to the Blackbaud CRM (FELIX) database. The Biographical Coordinator must always demonstrate utmost respect for the confidentiality of the information in which they are entrusted and must act with honesty, integrity and accountability in every effort they make on behalf of the UConn Foundation.
Primary Responsibilities - Serve as a liaison with Foundation and University staff to manage biographical update requests to the database. The Biographical Coordinator will possess a strong knowledge of the Foundation's data confidentiality policy and alert the Director of Advancement Services when inappropriate requests for data are received.
- Manage the biographical data requests email box as well as Constituent Update batch (CUB) imports into the CRM system
- Update FELIX with changes to biographical data associated with all research products produced by the Research Department, while ensuring timely data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain the biographical project log.
- Enhance and improve the overall integrity of data in the CRM database. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring data integrity reports and correcting inaccurate data. The Biographical Coordinator will also complete routine reviews of data entry completed by student staff to ensure a high level of accuracy and will alert managers of entry errors and recommend or provide additional training when needed.
- Research, analyze, and update biographical donor records in response to information received through various internal and external sources. Assist in basic research as required.
- Process FELIX merge requests as needed.
- Model and articulate the Foundation's organizational core values at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Engagement Collaborate with prospect management, research, analytics, gift & pledge management, and development teams to ensure biographical information is entered into the CRM system in a timely and accurate manner.

Education & Experience - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Blackbaud CRM data entry and/or other fundraising databases.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced skills with MS Office suite of products, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Salary: The expected pay rate for this position will be $25 per hour. It will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also placing an emphasis on internal equity.
